As the music video for Miles Away started to play, the first word that came to mind was wow! Produced and directed by the incredible Shae Sterling, the quality of this video is amazing, complete with Northland scenery and the beautiful photogenic Shayna in several styles. Each style gives the audience a different version of Shayna – wild, pretty, adventurous and free.
I’ve enjoyed Shayna’s acoustic performances in the past but Miles Away is definitely something else – an uplifting song with strong melodies. I believe Miles Away is worthy of a high placing in the Top 40 Charts.
This song was inspired by an overseas experience which involved the good, the bad and the ugly. Shayna’s vocals are gentle yet powerful, while displaying an abundance of potential. I’m very excited to see what her next move is within the music scene.
