Single Review: Waiting On What To Say 1

Geoff Ong, a pop artist from Aotearoa has just released a new sparkly upbeat track Waiting On What To Say. Written during a prolonged bout of social anxiety, Ong uses his songwriting as a tool to work through these feelings delivering a fresh upbeat electronic pop track with a message.

As with previous tracks, Waiting On What To Say showcases his ability to take the listener on a journey delivering heartfelt lyrics accompanied via a sweet sounding electronic soundscape.

Gaining a bit of a following through his music, Geoff Ong gets consistent radio airplay across NZ commercial hit music stations.

Ong produces music which is relatable and unpretentious, self-proclaimed “pop star for dorks” or as Radio New Zealand wrote providing “mainstream for, misfits”.

Waiting On What To Say is an upbeat track, cheerfully constructed to deliver a poignant message. Written, mixed and mastered by Geoff, with the support of Fred Calzada and Kris ‘Zion’ Ortega from Los Angeles based independent label Yo! Records.
