Single Review: My Love 1

The artwork for this single is actually a bit out of place. It gives a more intense rock appearance than what the track provides. While the musicians in question have experience in heavier music, they have traded it all in for a more wholesome sound.

My Love is a quintessential example of what makes a popular song. With a run time of less than four minutes, My Love has a soft acoustic sound, with a country twang to it. Joe Ravenhall excels at clean, intricate finger-work on the guitar, while Chris Brebner adds a certain huskiness to their sound. The track is simple and mellow, with soothing svelte vocals that instills a sense of peacefulness and tranquility.

My Love has a mix of folk, soul, and country styles that create an upbeat, feel good “summer” hit you can tap your foot to.

About the author butch181

Hey there! I’m Alex. Long time music lover, long time reviewer, and now I finally get to combine those and be a music reviewer! As a guitarist, pianist, and vocalist, I have a great appreciation for musicianship and the technicalities that go along with a group of people making music together. My genres of preference tend to gravitate towards Punk/Rock/Heavy/Metal, but I also like to dabble in some Classical, Pop, and even some Drum and Bass. Hope you enjoy my contributions!
