The boys from City of Souls have smashed it out of the park again; this time releasing another stunningly epic track Ferryman; and just like their previous releases, Ferryman has its own impressive feel to it.
This is a track that you can quite easily get behind right from the very beginning with an instrumental intro that is both captivating and inspiring, while encouraging you to head bang and rock along. Instrumentally, this track is perfect, and it’s as though it was made with Trajan’s distinctive voice in mind. The song speaks about trying to fix what can’t be fixed and chasing the wrong things in life.
City of Souls have put together an amazing music video to accompany this flawless single. Filmed by the incredibly talented Francis Wheeler and Erin Greenhill, and edited by Trajan Schwencke and Steve Boag, the video showcases City of Souls at their finest on the live stage.
It’s hard to compare City of Souls to any another band, because their individual sound makes them stand apart from the rest.
The only fitting way to end this review is, shut up and take my money. I cannot wait for their debut album, Synaesthesia, and listening to Ferryman has made me all the more excited for it.
Ferryman is now available on all social platforms, and you can check out the official music video here!
