On3ness Album Review

Third3ye is a collective of like-minded hip hop artists coming together to produce a new-wave, spiritual sound.

The music they make exudes a naturalist vibe over 15 tracks that takes the listener on a philosophic journey through mystical and musical vibrations.

Another variation on contemporary hip hop music in NZ. I guess the best way to describe this album is rustic and organic. The lyrics and beats compliment each other nicely. My favourite track was Aura the sixth track which had a sweet harmony floating in the background which kicked off more lighter sweet tracks. Throw in some Te Reo mixed through some dense raps and you have a pretty full album.
