THE BADDIES ARE COMING

On a wave of righteousness marketing
Bungface
‘Bungface’ Lyrics
BUNG FACE
(Music by Leah Hinton, Nick Baldwin and Jordan Tredray, lyrics by Leah Hinton 2007)
Jordan Tredray woke up bung-faced
Bung mouth, bung eyes, bung frown, bung smile
Bung face
Poor lad woke up with Bells Palsy
Bung face
Trauma to one of his brain nerves
Half his face was stuck in one place
Had to wear an eye patch
Drooled when he drank liquid
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
Bells Palsy
Bells Palsy
Jordan Tredray woke up bung faced
The Room
‘The Room’ Lyrics
THE ROOM
(Music by Leah Hinton, Nick Baldwin and Jordan Tredray, lyrics by Leah Hinton 2007)
It’s time to begin
Prepare the room
Just you try to go
You wont get through our walls
No, you’ll never leave this room
There’s no escape
From our pocket and gaps and our devious traps
There’s no escape
From this nightmare of boarded up windows, you will never wake
There’s no escape
No evasion, elusion, desertion, liberation or outbreak
There’s no escape
This room is secure, these walls are immune to your wails
No out
It’s time to begin
Prepare the room
Composting
‘Composting’ Lyrics
COMPOSTING
(Music and lyrics by Leah Hinton)
Under a black lid you compose
fresh decay for new growth
Feed, feed my precious ones
The natural process must be done
Feed, feed my precious ones
We’ll borrow your fruit when it’s gone
Nutrience is just a loan
and now the recievers are you condo
Feed, feed my precious ones
The natural process must be done
Feed, feed my precious ones
We’ll borrow your fruit when it’s gone
Check for sufficient moisture
Optimum temperature
Adequate airflow
The Cow Jumped Over The Moon
‘The Cow Jumped Over The Moon’ Lyrics
THE COW JUMPED OVER THE MOON
(Music by Leah Hinton and Nick Baldwin, lyrics by Leah Hinton 2008)
Oh cow of the sea, oh huge manitee, not content to just simply be
What made you leap from your bed in the deep while your friends slumbered in sleep?
Were your warm weary ways a jade on your days?
Did you crave the change of some other place?
Oh cow of the sea, oh huge manitee, not content to just simply be
Oh cow of the sea, oh huge manitee, not content to just simply be
You soar through the sky, to the moon and on by
And you’ll continue till the end of time
Swing Accident
‘Swing Accident’ Lyrics
(Music by Leah Hinton, Nick Baldwin and Jordan Tredray, lyrics by Leah Hinton 2006)
Wrecklessly, as tall as a tree, fall into the clouds
I’m invinsible
I’m a pendulum
Just windy blue in my eyes
The green is coming
Arthur R Nevilleson-Robertson-Brown
‘Arthur R Nevilleson-Robertson-Brown’ Lyrics
(Music by Leah Hinton, Nick Baldwin and Jordan Tredray, lyrics by Leah Hinton 2007)
Let me introduce myself. My name is Arthur R. Nevilleson-Robertson-Brown. I awoke to rain. Slightly more than delicate, like mince sizzling on the roof. I rose stiffly and reached for my robe. My feet searched for my slippers and encountered the cold grip of ……….. slipperlessness. The thought of my slippers not being in their usual place was as harsh and unforgiving as the shock of the cold floor. Was I out of my mind when I retired last night……….? No. My feet brushed tartan and leapt in. Catastrophe averted, my paralyzing fear subsided, and my day began. I minced through to the parlour and drew the blinds. I reeled back in horror at the sight that violated my eyes……….Dust. Dust, my old nemesis, we meet again. And every
time we meet I am older and weaker, and you appear as relentlessly dusty as the first time my infant eyes rested upon your foul form.
The rain is falling down
An old friend popping round
Feather duster
Wrists, don’t fail me
Eradicate malevolent particles
Calm yourself Arthur. I swished triumphantly out of the parlour and into the kitchen. The linoleum sparkled beneath my feet as I began pondering the tea ahead. My first step………….the vessel. I warmed a fine bone china cup upon a saucer, admiring its delicate floral design. Filling the kettle proved difficult for reasons I do not wish to disclose. The water started to move and then bubble like my anticipation. It began…………to whistle. I place the bag in the cup and let the water gush over it. It caressed and fondled the bag like a gentle lover, drawing out its…………….. frondulously fine flavour. I administered the one-minute stir then waited. At exactly
five minutes I extracted the bag and watched the milk swirl like a miniature galaxy in a cup. I swooned and lifted the nectar to my trembling lips………………………
Harbour Cone
‘Harbour Cone’ Lyrics
(Music and lyrics by Leah Hinton, 2006)
Walking
A long way to go
Inhale
Gases to replace
Wonder
What the day will bring
Tired is creeping amongst the depletion of the will to go forth, continue what could bring
The peak
Don’t lag behind
Take a deep breath, you’ve got gases to replace
Call off the meetings
Call off your bloodhounds
We’re not coming down
Call off the deadline
Call off call waiting
You’ll be waiting a long time
Call off the programme
Call off the schedule
There’s a long way to go
Call off your meetings
Call off your bloodhounds
We’re not coming down
We’re not coming down
Swallow
Back the ache and climb
Inhale
Gases to replace
This day
Could be the best day
Tired is creeping amongst the depletion of the will to go forth, continue what could bring
The peak
Don’t lag behind
Take a deep breath, you’ve got gases to replace
High above the cloud parts
Revealing what we’ve sought
Glorious the peak
Come, follow us
