Wolves/Gravel Pit Announce Split EP

Formed during a Covid 19 Lockdown in 2020, Tamaki Makarau’s Wolves bring a breath of fresh air with an unapologetic approach to Hardcore/Punk. Wolves features members of such bands as Bleeders, The Burial, Evil Priest and City of Souls with an abrasive raw influence, compared to such bands as Cro Mags, Madball and early Metallica.
Poneke’s Gravel Pit (pictured) formed in 2017 and play a style fast aggressive punk/hardcore drawn from a storied list of collective influences. The band have released two digital EPs, Gravel Pit (2018) and Black Arts (2020). This will be Gravel Pit’s first physical release to date.
Wolves and Gravel Pit have collaborated to bring back the classic “split 7 inch record” through Auckland Art collective Electric Ceremony. One side per band, 5 tracks in total. The EP will be released both physically and digitally through their respective Bandcamp pages.
Limited to 150 copies these 7 inch records will sell out!
