Tom Broome ‘Lies To Live By’ Out Today
Auckland Producer and Drummer, Tom Broome (Tami Neilson, TEEKS, Bailey Wiley, Aaradhna, Home Brew), follows up his 2020 solo debut Never Sleeping Repeating with new single Lies To Live By.
Lies To Live By is a dream-pop head-nodder about the fictions we tell ourselves to get by. “I wrote this song a year ago but decided not to do anything with it. I came back to it a few months ago and it still feels like a sentiment that’s relevant, so I tweaked the arrangement a little and finished it with the help of some friends. I try to write about what I know, what I see in family and friends and what shapes our realities.”

Artist Bio
Tom Broome is a drummer, producer and songwriter based in Auckland, NZ. He currently performs with Tami Neilson, TEEKS, Bailey Wiley, Aaradhna and Home Brew and in the past has performed with Hollie Smith, Anika Moa and many more. He’s contributed to several award winning & nominated albums by Avantdale Bowling Club, The Miltones, Home Brew and TEEKS.
Tom has built his own studio in New Lynn where he produces and engineers for different artists and his own solo work. Recently he’s been working with Tami Neilson & Jenny Mitchell, Dianne Swann, Mice On Stilts, Molly & The Chromatics.
