The Not Okays remaster ‘Bite Me’ for streaming services, tease first original song

After a warm reception to the release of their cover of Avril Lavigne’s Bite Me on YouTube, independent emo revival band The Not Okays have remastered the track to announce their arrival on streaming services.
“Aaron wears plenty of hats in this band, he’s not just our token Jason Mamoa look alike for clout,” laughs Lauren, referring to guitarist and vocalist Aaron Prictor. “He’s our producer and he does such a slick job of it. He opted to remaster our Bite Me cover for our first digital release, as he wanted there to be a reason for people to want to listen to both the YouTube cover and the stream.”
“Our YouTube cover is a bit rough around the edges just like it should be, it was produced and recorded virtually in the middle of Auckland’s extensive lockdown late 2021. This is a taster of what we can do when we’re in the room together, and an exciting first streaming release when our first original song, Better Days, is coming in the next few weeks.”
