TeamSquad release EP ‘Sassbucket’

While most earthlings are confined to their homes during isolation, the crew of bandits TeamSquad were trekking the landscapes of their native planet, Zew Nealand.

An unlikely crew of two equines and two canines are on a quest to capture the untamed Riffs that roam the wild terrain. To help capture these elusive Riff creatures they’ve enlisted the help of two earthlings (formerly ex-pat band Death In Texas), Ruth & Kane Power.

The TeamSquad have pulled together their collective influences to create an Alternative R&B record inspired by their travels.

Sassbucket exclaims that her self-titled project is “the first record in the history of space and time that’s a collaboration between equines, canines and humans. Face-melting riffs, soul-quenching melodies & hooks to hook up to.”

The adventurous band of canines and equines is comprised of lead singer, Sassbucket, a cantankerous whiskey-swilling french bulldog; Pocketsand, a compassionate pug with a leather addiction (BVs); ‘Corruption’ Stu, an equine with links to the Chilean mafia and a disdain for the term ‘horse’ (BVs); and Keith, the happy-go-lucky horn-free unicorn.

“Through a Spotify wormhole in space-time, our planet has access to 3 earth albums: Devo, Dead or Alive and Death In Texas. The latter is our favourite, so we abducted them from Earth to help make this record of our quest.”
