Sam V Releases ‘Up Up Down’

The 1010’s prodigal son is back with another R&B bop to light the fire as we head into Summer. Coming off the back of the successful Cruisin’ EP collaboration with bKIDD and single release Hold Me with Chris Bates, Sam V comes out swinging again with his new release Up Up Down.
In this tik tokably’ catchy tune, Sam V employs a flow and melody which has been likened to the works of Roddy Rich and Craig David. The production of EDY is also a strongpoint here – featuring a beat he created on Peter Pedro’s beat radar series.
There’s also an upcoming music video release for Up Up Down, directed by Sam V and Peter Pedro. It’s certainly a reflection of the character of Sam V and his Y$O friends. A humorous and quirky clip that features Sam V trying to coordinate a music video in need of a missus, dancers and sitting on a moving car.
Up Up Down continues the rush of output by central Auckland’s R&B representative and he looks in no rush of slowing on his up’s for down’s come October 30.
