Ruby Frost releases new single after long hiatus

Ruby Frost is releasing her first single after a long hiatus.
With 70’s disco strings, layered percussion, and a sound inspired by French pop; Frost explains the song is about, “An almost-relationship that never happened. It’s about letting go of something you never really had, realising all the possibilities you imagined with someone are never going to exist.”
Frost made a DIY visualiser for the song three months into Auckland’s lockdown, adding, “I wanted to build a makeshift theatre, and had a lot of fun making props out of cardboard and tinfoil. We stayed up till 4.30am one night, shooting on an old shaky camcorder.”
