HEAVY
Heavy is an infectiously energetic rap duo. After being together for little more than a year they have already made a huge impact in there home-town of Auckland playing 2015’s Chronophonium, Laneway & Splore Festivals. Last May Heavy released their debut album titled Lock In and went on tour of the North Island promoting the album with huge success. Most recently Heavy were apart of The Others Way festival which showcased a range of alternative musical talent from New Zealand, supported Earl Sweatshirt and Jurassic 5 when they were down under.

YES!
The multi-dimensional Ratatat are back cruising the superway and finally throttle the overdue absence as this way they now come.
MAGNIFIQUE!
The long awaited album Magnifique comes after time off drifting through the wilderness and thoroughly drives the chrome into cream.
Following up on the experimental sounds of LP3 and LP4, RATATAT return to their core guitar-driven sound on Magnifique which was recorded over the course of four years in various studios in different locations including Jamaica, upstate New York, Long Island, NY and their home studio in Brooklyn. Latest single Abrasive also features an incredible hand drawn video put together by Evan.
“Ratatat have returned with a vengeance” exclaims Fader. Leading up to the release of Magnifique, RATATAT played a string of shows across North American including an appearance at Coachella. Consequence of Sound reviewed the band’s headline show in Pomona noting “fans’ rabid reaction thought this performance spoke volumes about the outfit’s perhaps underrated impact and popularity… their 75-minute set was nothing less than explosive from beginning to end.”
Already announced on the 2015 Meredith Music Festival now comes the first run of New Zealand club shows since their last visit around the 2011 Big Day Out run. Bring on the light majestic.
Latest album Magnifique, out now on XL Recordings/Rhythmethod.
