Oakley Grenell Releases ‘Madness’ feat. YT Single & Lotek Remix

Melbourne-based Kiwi musician and producer Oakley Grenell is celebrating 22 years of his independent record label with the new single Madness, featuring YT and subsequent Remix by Lotek. This 2-pack will be available on Friday, August 9th, 2024.
Grenell teams up with Reggae Dancehall vocalist YT to deliver a hard-hitting, bass-infused, future dancehall track. YT’s double-time lyrics exude masterful confidence and “inna de dance” etiquette, delivering streetwise knowledge over a souped-up, percussive production beat with a bold, in-your-face bassline. Madness is the second single from Grenell’s upcoming LP, scheduled for release in November 2024. The track showcases Grenell’s prowess in harder, dance floor-oriented production, reminiscent of the sound that marked the 20th anniversary of his debut LP, Uncharted, which was digitally re-released earlier this year and nominated for a B-net award.
Lotek has contributed a Soundsystem half-time remix for this special 2-pack release, emphasising dub and live horn instrumentation for listeners seeking a more relaxed vibe.
A full production music video for Madness will complement the release on Grenell’s YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook artist pages on August 14th 2024.
