Nur Peach Releases New Single

The second single from Nur Peach’s upcoming debut album, Cover To Cover continues in the effervescent, inspirational pop vein of lead single Offbeat, with sparkling synths, catchy harmonies and lyrics about leaving home and coming into one’s own.
Born and raised on the Coromandel Peninsula, Nur Peach has been singing and writing songs from a very early age, and had written more than 200 songs by the time she finished high school. Nur has extensive performance experience under her belt, both in New Zealand and around the world. This experience includes performances at the NZ Spirit Festival, Auckland Folk Festival and the legendary Prana festival, performances in Israel and busking on the streets of Paris. In 2016, her original song Feel The Sun made her the Waikato regional winner of the Play It Strange Get Connected songwriting competition, a competition for New Zealand high-school age students. Her recent single release Offbeat had a positive reception, being featured on Indie Music Center and Muzic.net.nz.
Cover To Cover, like Offbeat, was produced by Auckland producer Scott Seabright. Nur wrote the song upon moving to Auckland city for her first year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Popular Music. This was her first time moving out of her family home in the countryside, and she was inspired by the bright lights and busy nights of the city, and the excitement of setting off into the world on her own. The message of Cover To Cover is one of new beginnings, of stepping outside of our comfort zones and taking our lives into our own hands.
