No Life welcome French metal masters ten56. to vicious new single ‘One Hitter’

New Zealand/Aotearoa metalcore quartet No Life welcome French metal masters ten56. to their latest track One Hitter.
A cut-throat and aggressive offering from a band with a chip on their shoulder, One Hitter is primed for the mosh pit and pulls no punches. The Kiwi quartet enlist Aaron Matts and Luka Rozaka of “Downer” kings ten56. to unleash vehement on those who stand in their way, and teamed up with Buster Odeholm (Thrown, Humanity’s Last Breath, Vildjarta) to sharpen the edges on the mix and master.
One Hitter follows on from their May single Obnoxious, which featured Emmure vocalist Frankie Palmeri, who jumped at the opportunity to lay down a scathing verse on the heavy-hitter, taking the single from tough to downright crushing. Obnoxious called out ‘deadbeats’ that leech off of others and carry little respect for those around them.
The single debuted on Triple J The Racket and found a home in Spotify editorial playlists All New Metal, Deathcore and Homegrown + Heavy, Apple Music editorial playlists New In Rock, Breaking Metal and Breaking Hard Rock, raked in a quarter of a million digital streams and counting and became one of Metal Hammer’s tracks of the week upon release – described as “pure venomous rage, perfect if you’re wondering where the subgenre’s spikier, nastier edges have gone”. Wall Of Sound highlighted it as “a ferocious display of modern nu-metalcore”.
For fans of metal heavyweights Alpha Wolf, Sworn In and Graphic Nature, No Life set out to carve a name for themselves in 2021 with their pummelling blend of metalcore and nu-metal. Putting a fresh spin on the genre, No Life lace their tunes with a healthy mix of aggressive vocals, chaotic riffage, crushing breakdowns, driving electronic moments and fierce instrumental beatdowns.
Their potent mix has drawn eyes from across the globe and has seen No Life sign with Obsolete Music and support shows with Silent Planet (US), While She Sleeps (UK), AlphaWolf, To The Grave and Make Them Suffer as well as multiple headline tours across Australia and New Zealand.
No Life level up with One Hitter – available and streaming everywhere now.
