No Broadcast Releasing New Single + Video 'the Shore'

The Shore is the first glimpse into a whole new sonic world for No Broadcast.

“Environmental changes in the band song writer is most likely the catalyst for these new sonic textures to be manifesting”
they say.

Listen to The Shore here

Self produced and featuring some of Christchurch’s favourites (Thomas Isbister, Ryan Fisherman), The Shore speaks of uncertainty in one’s life. It points to situations that once seemed to be solid and how suddenly they become a distant memory, a past life or a vivid dream that you now have woken up from. It is about people in our lives that aren’t with us anymore and the new realities we are left to face in their absence.

Alongside this track No Broadcast have release a stunning, moody but hopeful video filmed and edited by Aaron Lee

No Broadcast, spawns out of the environmental influences of Christchurch and New Zealand. They combine this with a particular perspective and draw sounds from the likes of Jakob, Mogwai, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, HDU and The Veils. Their sound is surpassed only by the embrace of live experience. Since 2007 the name No Broadcast started to appear on posters in reviews and on the NZ music scene as a band with the ability to move audiences with their emotive, free-flowing music. Playing various festivals and shows nationwide with various local and national artists, they have played alongside rockers
Beastwars; post punk heavyweights Die! Die! Die!, Bauhaus, Skinny Hobos, Clap Clap Riot, Mountaineater.

No Broadcast in its true essence is a vision of sonic expression stemming from the mind and soul of singer songwriter and producer Josh Braden. No Broadcast have produced and released 5 albums to date.
Null & Void EP (2011), 1736 EP (2012), No Broadcast (2013), The Blueprint (2015) and Lie in Orbit 2021.
