New Single ‘Little Joy’ by YAHYAH

Spending the last 4 years living in Los Angeles as a working songwriter with Genuine Music Group, Holly Cameron, aka YAHYAH, could be found in sessions writing with acclaimed collaborators such as Pam Shenye (Christina Aguilera), Anita McCloud (Usher) and producer Josh Valle (Drake, Snoh Aalegra) on any given day. With a desire to prioritise her own artist project, she relocated back to New Zealand in 2021 – and has already made her mark working with artists like Niko Walters, Foley, Janine and Vikae.

Little Joy, out September 24th and co-written with established producer Will Henderson (CHAII, Niko Walters), sees YAHYAH reminisce on her time overseas and the memories made. Guaranteed to get you dancing or calling a friend to re-connect, Little Joy captures YAHYAH’s pop potential with hooky melodies and brilliant storytelling.

YAHYAH states – “Little Joy is a bar in Echo Park, Los Angeles that my best friends and I used to frequently go to unwind, dance, drink, and just be ourselves. We would walk back to our apartment at the top of the hill like the city was our own living room. This song captures my fondest memories of such a beautiful season of my life.”

Accompanying the single release is a music video shot by Annabel Keanto re-introduce the artist to her New Zealand audience and features friends new and old.
