New Album Release from New Zealand Indie Band, Known Associates

As part of NZ Music Month 2020, Auckland indie rock band, Known Associates have just released their much anticipated second album Ride the Wave.

It combines the intensity of their classic twin guitar vibe and rhythm section swagger, with a great bunch of new songs.

It will no doubt add a legion of new fans to their already growing base.

The album follows a successful year of gigging, with highlights including support slots for New York rockers Living Colour, and local legends  The Feelers and The Jordan Luck band.

The four strong line-up comprises Warren Cate (vocals, guitar), Grant Wills (lead guitar), Dave Hartley (bass) and Torey Leggett (drums).

The album was recorded at Auckland’s Itchycoo Park Studio, produced under the stewardship of Wayne Bell, with Hayden Taylor engineering.

Mastering duties fell to Chris Chetland @ KOG studios.
