After the release of their honest af political alt-rap track, Woof, which was unleashed on election day, Poneke’s NahBo is back with the equally candid Force, via Hayley Smith of Dead Little Penny’s label Empty Goon Records.
Speaking of the track, NahBo, AKA Taranaki Ah Young-Grace (Feastie Boys) says, “A man once warned me against becoming a trope in the form of a political jazz trap artist. So, naturally, I decided to lean into it. This one’s dedicated to you, Big Guy™.”
NahBo is an Astronesian native, trying on the Soundcloud fuckboy aesthetic, is sad about colonisation, then makes beats about it.
