Music Stars Head To The Bay Of Islands This Easter Weekend

The Bay of Islands Music Festival has an incredible line-up for music-lovers this weekend. The Easter treats include roots icon Jimmy Cliff (Jamaica), Bobby Alu (Australia), Katchafire, Teeks, Louis Baker, Tami Neilson, Troy Kingi,Rob Ruha, Swamp Thing and Moondog Blues.

Jimmy Cliff took the world by storm with his infectious reggae hits. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the legend perform his greatest hits; I Can See Clearly Now (The Rain Has Gone), Reggae Night, The Harder They Come, Many Rivers To Cross, Wonderful World Beautiful People, Roots Woman, You Can Get It If You Really Want It, We Are All One and many more. Jimmy comes to NZ for one exclusive show between his two performances at the Byron Bay Bluesfest.

He is joined some of New Zealand’s finest soul, roots and blues artists. The Waitangi waterfront will be the place to be onSaturday 31 March. Gates open at 12noon with non-stop music until 10.30pm.
