Lexxa Release 'toxic Love' Ep

New Zealand synth-pop duo Lexxa (Maude Morris, Julia Morris) reveal their debut, self-written release Toxic Love, out today on Tone Tonic. Through heavy, heart-on-your-sleeve lyrics and expansive synthpads, the pair have been writing away at the undercurrents of millennial heart ache, and now they’re here with a burn book of sorts and they’re taking no prisoners.

The seven track EP features four new tracks produced by Maude with additional vocal producing by Possum Plows (Openside) and additional engineering by Rich Bryan. It was mixed by Chris Van de Geer (Big Pop Studios) and mastered by Howard Rogers (Bring It On Studios).

Toxic Love features their debut single I Got Better Friends Now and Get Out which featured on Billboard Magazine’s Best of 2018 list, and the Chelsea Jade, JessB and Nakita-co write Slow Fade Out.

Paired with the release, Lexxa revealed a music video for their brand new single Floating earlier this month, watch here.
