La Coco Shares New Track – ‘Another’ Ft. Hawkins

La Coco‘s newest offering, Another featuring Hawkins, is a delectable fusion of RnB, dance, and pop lyricism, another great stride from the trailblazing songstress who has previously won a Waiata Maori Music Award for best RnB album, as well as three nominations at the Vodafone Pacific Music Awards under her belt.
Another, is a heart-wrenching tale of the ebb and flow of love, and the agony and ecstasy of the fall. “A heart grows fonder for her love as time, absence and distance slowly begins to separate them, she begins to think the worst”, says La Coco.
The collaboration between La Coco and Hawkins stems from a close friendship, which shines through in this track, adding to its organic honesty and depth.
“With this track I was searching for a particular sound and tone so when looking for the best person to fill this collab I looked no further than one of my closest and most talented friends, Hawkins, who knew exactly what I wanted to achieve with this song and delivered in studio right then and there” – La Coco
La Coco is Samoan and Maori music artist from Mangere, South Auckland New Zealand. Beginning her musical journey at a young age, La Coco found her footing singing in church, and in he early adult years started developing a career performing as a live backing vocalist and session singer, where her renowned thick soul sound flourished.
