Flirting with Disaster‘s debut album Live It Up combines classic punk rock attitude with catchy hooks and melodies that remind you not to take life or music too seriously. From the fun Blink 182 inspired Never Meant A Thing, to the deeply personal What I’ve Become, Live It Up ticks all the boxes for a high energy pop punk album you’ll want to listen to again and again.
Stitches are a hard rock trio known for their heavy hitting riffs, soaring melodies and faultless songwriting. Hailing from Auckland, the band is made up of JP Carroll (guitar and vocals), Hugh Hokopaura (bass) and Daniel Purchase (drums). In 2014 the band released their debut five-track EP Harder Times. Produced, engineered and mixed by Dave Johnston of Tui-award-winning rock band Villainy with assistance from engineer Matt Keller (Luger Boa, Dead Beat Boys), Harder Times is a solid showcase of work that garnered a promising response from the local media.
