Hazza Making Noise Releases Debut Ep 'vengeful Millennial'

After successful shows in Christchurch and Auckland, songwriter producer Hazza Making Noise, AKA Harry Platt, has released his debut EP Vengeful Millennial.

The culmination of 2 years worth of DIY production battles and writers block, Vengeful Millennial is an electronica infused, alt rock doozy. Featuring previously released singles NoMoreGaps and an extended cut of Boomers in Disguise, the five track EP spans territory from pop punk to indie dance rock. Each song has a distinct identity while being one of larger whole.

“I’ve always wanted to do a project where each song blends into the next,” says Platt on the continuous composition of the project. “Most of my favourite albums feature tracks that do. I like the sense of journey that is created when the record doesn’t break between songs, and there is relationship between them. Some of these songs were literally born out of other ones, hence the flow of sounds and textures between them.”

“I mean it’s probably a f*cking terrible idea in the age of streaming and the dominance of single tracks and playlists to release a body of work that is supposed listened to as a whole, but sh*t sometimes you gotta just do want you want first.”

Unfortunately due to current Covid-19 Level 4 restrictions, Hazza Making Noise and his band The Ellice Road Boyz have cancelled the final show of The Vengeful Millennial Tour, Saturday 28th of August, at Nirvana Lounge.
