EP Release & Tour for Gunt

Gunt is a 5 piece metal band based in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Since forming in 2005 the bands sound has progressed from a quirky/classic metal sound to a more thrash/death metal style incorporating elements of groove and melodic death metal.

‘From Darkness To Deletion’ is the Gunt’s third release (the bands first on Hit Your Head Music) and their heaviest and most accomplished work to date. The EP features engineering and mixing by Nick Blow (Come To Dolly, Heterodox) and mastering and additional mixing by Zorran Mendonsa (Subtract, Cobra Khan, Devils Elbow, In Dread Response)

The track ‘Advocate’ also appears on the Hit Your Head Music compilation album ‘DOCO 2010-2011’.
