Since his full-length debut, Ship Life, Eli Moore cruised, composed and continued to make a living around the world. Lockdown on the family farm in Northland actually did his creativity a great service, and forced out his first effort as bedroom producer.
A far cry from the live band, strings and horns of his first record, Home Skillet is the same sharp songwriting, sizzling in a 90’s sauce. Borrowing from producer heroes like Teddy Riley, Babyface and Q-Tip, Eli has fused his own mix of flavors together, giving the listener a little lo-fi, throwback RnB and parody Hip Hop.
