Caught Inside Release New Single: ‘Burn That Breath’ this Friday

‘You’re cold and I can’t feel you, as we burn our breath.’ Taken from the second verse of Caught Inside’s latest single, releasing on 28th July, this lyric encapsulates what the song explores; reclaiming the love lost in a spiraling broken relationship. Musically, the song represents the band’s softer side – distorted guitars are replaced by an intimate acoustic sound, embellished by a luscious string arrangement performed by Amy Boreovich (HINA).

Burn That Breath is part of Caught Inside’s upcoming EP 5 Star Shag, set to release on August 25th, and stands out as a folk-oriented antithesis to the other upbeat, punchier tracks on the project. 5 Star Shag is the culmination of the band’s collaboration with producer Emily Wheatcroft-Snape (Lorde, Fazerdaze), bringing together their blistering live-energy and artistic flair into an edgy yet palatable slice of the band’s hi-octane personality.
