Cameron McCurdy Releases ‘Comfortable?’ from Upcoming Album

Comfortable? is the first single from the upcoming album, Empathy for My Future Self, by Cameron McCurdy – a trans musician, comic maker, and animator from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Formerly the drummer of K M T P, Makeshift Parachutes, Deryk, and Blu Fish. After transitioning and releasing her lockdown-2020 demo album last year, she’s back with a new sound (Art pop, electropop, alternative rock) and a new live band.

Cameron is also making her live full-band debut on the 22nd of February 2025, at Misheard Records & Auckland Pride‘s QUEER AUTUMN: an alternative/queer punk gig
