Big Sima & Boomtown to Release Inspiring Anthem ‘Aotearoa’ Celebrating Unity and Progress
Big Sima and his talented 7-piece band, Boomtown, are gearing up to unveil their latest single, Aotearoa. Produced by the esteemed Ben Christian and Dr. Lee Prebble and recorded at Surgery Studios, the track features an impressive lineup including Blair Gowan on Keys, Emile McKenzie on Vocals, Jonty Zydenbos on Trumpet, Mark Smith on Guitar, Ciaran Egan on Drums, and Theo Hertzig on Saxophone. Written by Emile and Big Sima, Aotearoa is a heartfelt ode to the indigenous people of this beautiful country and their allies, emphasising unity.
The release of Aotearoa will be accompanied by a music video directed by renowned filmmaker Keelan Walker from Loud Noise Media, promising viewers a visually compelling experience that complements the song’s message.
Aotearoa serves as the third single from Big Sima & Boomtown’s upcoming EP, Early In The Peace, set for release on May 3rd. Each track on the EP is crafted to inspire and uplift, showcasing the group’s musical talent and storytelling ability.
