Belladonna Shares Sophomore EP – ‘Total Eclipse Of My Brain’
Dream-pop queen Belladonna is proud to share her sophomore EP Total Eclipse of My Brain, a four track offering of hazy ethereal vocals, synth and guitar that band together to create a romantic summery sound, produced by Shannon Fowler.
Stumbling upon songwriting by happy accident, songwriter Bella Cook found herself constantly drawn into music’s storytelling, lugging around a tape recorder and catching snippets of glittery melodies and frank observations of daily life. Evolving from her seedling beginnings to her artist moniker Belladonna, her observations about the quirks of life became loaded one-liners, and her biographical lyrics and hypnotic melodies became the trademark of her fun blend of indie-pop.
Speaking of her EP, Bella says, “I’m so excited to share Total Eclipse of My Brain with everyone. It began with stories I wove in my bedroom and then took to my good friend and producer Shannon Fowler. We spent a week in his studio fleshing out the songs, talking about life and eating all the food. It’s a little window into my head, and I hope it can be the soundtrack to your summer”.
