Before the Snooze Debut EP ‘That’s A Fact!’ Out Today

That’s A Fact!, the debut EP from Dunedin based band Before the Snooze is now available!

Formed in early 2018, Before the Snooze have been finding and refining their sound at the Treehouse Studios. For the last year this material has been played at a range of venues across the city including successful sets at Sofar Sounds and the Nook and Cranny Music Festival, creating a small but dedicated following.

The tunes, each self-penned by lead vocalist and guitarist Stephen Hillman, are a melting pot of members Stephen’s, Wes Jenkins’ (lead guitar, backing vocals), Adam Binns’ (bass, backing vocals) and Scott Turnbull’s (drums, backing vocals) influences including indie, rock, pop and punk. The result – catchy, foot tapping, hook laden nuggets of indie guitar jangle, that are now available for repeated listening via the usual music streaming services.

The EP’s official launch will be celebrated by a headline set at the Dunedin Public Library’s Gig Hub on the last night of NZ Music Month 2019.
