Be My Anchor Name Change

Be My Anchor have changed their name to Patriot to reflect the band’s new direction in music and recent line-up changes. 

They will still be appearing on the Thy Assassin A World Left Behind tour however will be doing so under the new name Patriot. 

Patriot’s full statement below:

“Hey family!

So…
If you made it out to either our Admonishment or Vices show you may remember us telling you all that there was going to be some interesting news in the world of Be My Anchor, one of those being a potential name change.

Well, we all got together and discussed the pro’s and con’s of renaming the band xFONTERRA ADx but decided that it probably wasn’t the wisest of choices, so we had to try for something else. After a lot of rubbish suggestions and a few really good ones (That were already taken by other bands) we finally came to a decision.
As of today, we will now be known as…..

Patriot.

The name of this page will remain “Be My Anchor” for a few days so it’s not as confusing and hopefully it will minimize the amount of people saying “Who the heck is Patriot and why did I like this page???”.

After a few days it will change to Patriot, so don’t get confused!

Secondly.

We have an EP to release shortly! It is currently in the final stages of recording and there is only a few more things to track, after that it is just mixing and mastering. Once we have done a little bit more we will have a better idea of a release date but expect it to be within a month!

Thank you all for supporting us, coming to see us live and showing us love! We cannot wait to get this EP out and to play our next show. See you all on the 13th of February at The Kings Arms Tavern in Auckland!
