Alt-Country Troubadour ‘Stretch’ Hits The Road On Way To Studio

Alt-country singer songwriter Stretch is heading out with guitars, harmonicas, kick-drum and his reputation for spell binding performances for his last shows prior to entering the studio. From dark-hearted ballads to roof-raising choruses; set to a boot stomping backbeat, Stretch’s soulful voice cuts through it all.
The past year has seen Stretch light up venues from coast to coast on 3 national tours, earning the kind of rave reviews only the most passionate live performance justifies. The Rogue Stage described him as ‘a pure hearted performer, his songs sound like long time classics’.
With a live EP already under his belt and being filmed for TV featuring up and coming songwriters, this run of tours is topped off with being asked to open at The Powerstation for American songwriting legend Jeff Tweedy of Wilco fame – on his only New Zealand show!
Bringing with him the talents of multi-instrumentalist Brad Gamble on drums, you won’t want to miss out on this up-and-coming alt-country star. With a voice rich in emotion and a desire to connect to audiences everywhere, Stretch is making fans the old fashioned way, one music lover at a time.
