November see’s the 1st three dates of the ‘Made in New Zealand’ tour, with some great local support acts:
13th of Nov: Altitude Hamilton with special guests Snake Oil Peddlers
14th Nov: The Mayfair New Plymouth with special guests The Slacks
15th Nov: King Street Live Masterton with special guests tbc.
Both bands release new albums in the new year, 71 Sunset’s, being their 1st full length album and The Symphony of Screams 3rd.
On top of the similar musical influences and being signed to the same label The Symphony of Screams, TeMatera Smith is producing the new 71 Sunset album which is currently being tracked and mixed at Red Room Recording Studios. So yea they’re thick as thieves, and the combined full on power house sound and stage presence is guaranteed to produce a kick ass show!
The Symphony of Screams release their new music video to Dirty Southern Slut – Katrina this Friday 31st of Oct, the second video from their album Radio Candy and was written after the band witnessed the horrors lavished upon the Southern United States by Hurricane Katrina, through the eyes of friends living through it and those who rushed to the aid of New Orleans.
Both Radio Candy and 71 Sunset’s debut EP Mule have had great critical acclaim Internationally and this tour shows both bands commitment to their loyal NZ fanbase.
