Kora/Fuce/Mountains of Murry/Fat freddys drop/Greg Malcom/DegreesK/sifty chris and the gladeyes/Split Enz/etc etc

What is your favourite NZ venue?
Mussel Inn Takaka

What is the best live gig you have ever been to?
David Byrne w/Tosca Strings Orchestra

Where do you see yourselves in 5 years?
playing music playing it to people same as it ever was lol

How do you keep in contact with your fans?
Live and thru the internet www.myspace.com/orkidmusic

What rumour would you like to start about yourselves?
That our sound really does represent the Universe and the Divine

What advice would you like to give to other aspiring musicians?
Make sure music is what you want/should be doing, love and explore it to the full other wise your wasting your life Happy

I’m Lisa, Muzic.NZ’s founder and manager. I also manage the Aotearoa Music Industry Collective as well as the Aotearoa Rock Community and the Gig Space Facebook groups. I’ve been interested in music for as long as I can remember – I grew up listening to my parent’s records and watching the Top 40 Countdown on TV every weekend. I also played the drums and guitar in high school, and wrote lyrics for some of my friend’s bands. I come from a musical background; my Granddad was one of the main founders of country music clubs in Taranaki.
