You guys have just finished your debut EP, when was that released?
Yeah we actually released a full length album a while ago but this is the first with the new line up, it was released just before the tour (with Invader Cain and Autozamm) so it’s kinda like the official release, just been trying to pump it out as much as we can on this tour.
You also have your single “Adrenaline” up on ITunes already and your getting radio play out of that as well…
Yeah we are its going really well, heaps of feedback, it started off just playing on the rock night show and we got to Off The Record which is great, real good feedback.
So we can ring them up and request it?
Absolutely! Yeah that would be nice, they’ve started blocking our numbers hahaha.
Any other stations you’re played on?
Mainly just The Rock, Kiwi FM, Hauraki… all three of them are really doing wonders for us, which is great.
Any big goals on the horizon for November Zulu?
Next focus is another album, no timing we’ve only just released our EP, we’ll let this swing away and do as many gigs as possible, keep writing and keep gigging really, and yeah when we can afford it.
The new members we’ve got have given us a totally new sound and the dynamics are so much tighter than it has been, personally I’d just like to keep gigging a lot more, we’ve been focusing on music production for so long that now we’re gigging it’s just a really good feeling.
Speaking of gigs…. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you guys at a gig so far?
Adam couldn’t even hear his tinnitus hahahahaha.
Adam gets Tinitus, it’s that ringing in your ears that’s quite loud.
Oh you’re the drummer…
Yeah, my ears are fucked haha.
At the end of the gig in wellington he couldn’t even hear the tinnitus ringing in his ears, it’s like they had just given up hahaha.
He played so hard that he couldn’t even hear his own tinnitus?!?!
He does play hard, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!.
So how long have you guys actually been together for?
All up as a band, about six and a half years, the new line up about a year.
Who’s the coolest band you have ever opened for?
November Zulu! Haha They’re quite handsome, but it’s not only about cosmetics, it’s more about the sound, it’s just good haha.
This is actually the first time we have done consecutive shows with the same bands… big ups to Invader Cain and Autozamm cos those guys have a great sense of humour and they’re just great guys to be around, and we look forward to doing MANY GIGS TOGETHER IN THE FUTURE!! Hahaha yeah they’re just funny, they’ve all got a sick sense of humour, I love it! And they love their music which is cool”

So you’re touring with another up and coming band “Invader Cain, and I’ve noticed your Facebook likes are very close, is there any friendly rivalries going on behind the scenes?
Nah, no rivalries, there can’t be any when they’re kicking our ass…
Actually I think you guys have more than them…
