I’ve worked in communications for over twenty years, ten of those in NZ Parliament doing visual comms (design, photography, video, illustration, sometimes combining all four). When I moved to Hawke’s Bay in 2017 I built up my camera gear again and did volunteer work for the SPCA and then Fringe in the Stings, which led me to muzic.net.nz. I’m a huge fan of live music (rock, blues, alt-folk, Americana and a bit of metal from time to time) and particularly enjoy the challenge of capturing the mood of a gig through visuals. I have three kids, three step-kids, a granddaughter, two cats, and a wonderful husband who keeps the whole ship steady and even comes to a gig with me from time to time 🙂
