The RVMES

Doused under signature pink light, covered in sweat and pouring well thought out riffs from their cranked amps is where you’ll usually find one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s hard working alternative rock bands, The RVMES.

These lads proudly sport a strong work ethic in the scene and an even stronger energy on stage since their conception in 2018. The RVMES deliver a distinctive sound from their collective love and influence of alt-rock, funk, reggae and soul, reminiscent of the RHCP in the 90’s. They have gained good traction around the country with solid festival slots, finger licking sync placements, four self funded tours of New Zealand and successes across local and student radio with their fast growing catalogue.

As 2025 rears it’s head, The RVMES are excited to announce their partnership with the legends at AAA Records to bring you a string of brand new singles and their fourth album titled Boundary Issues which will be announced in the near, near future.
