While The Inquisition are a relatively new band in the New Zealand music scene, they have quickly gained a passionate following and reputation for their high energy, hard hitting live shows.
Founded in November 2013, the band released a demo recording of Aurora in March 2014 to a positive reception. While writing new material, the band was playing shows all over the north island of New Zealand, helping them gain a fan base to release their debut EP Insight in September 2014. The EP was well received by the public and gave audiences a taste of what to expect in the future.
The year 2014 had a lot of high points for The Inquisition, which was undoubtedly capped by performing with Australian metalcore giants, In Hearts Wake in December.
Currently working on a follow up release, The Inquisition has a lot to offer for the future and will look to continue to grow as a band that has already shown their massive potential.
