Making waves in Ōtautahi/Christchurch as well as establishing a significant presence on Tiktok, singer/songwriter Harry Burt has made a name for himself as an engaging, high-energy, frequent performer around town having most recently performed alongside New Zealand music royalty Annie Crummer at the annual ‘Sparks in the Park’. Now Harry is looking to shed more light on his original music.

After earning performance opportunities on What Now, The Erin Simpson Show, and More FM from as young as 9 years old, Harry is still on his musical journey. Training vocally in classical, musical theatre, jazz, contemporary and acapella stylings, Harry’s songs offer a unique approach to contemporary songwriting. Inspired by the likes of The 1975, Lawrence, Adam Melchor, and Lizzy McAlpine, there is something for everyone in his music.

Harry got his start in producing his own songs in 2020 under lockdown in his parents’ spare room. After reaching a significant audience recording, producing and releasing homemade songs (Waltz in the Rain, Chamomile). Harry has grown to work with New Zealand based producers Levi and Noah Page (Depot) to bring the vision of his songs to life. Working alongside Levi of Levi Recordings, the pair created an EP which is reflective of Harry’s wide range of musical ability across genres. This will be released on May 2nd 2025.

The release of Harry’s EP Bonnie and Clyde will be paired with his first headline show at Space Academy on the 1st of May, where alongside his band he will share every song off the EP as well as older and newer tunes.
