Dos-Ovni, a doomgaze duo from Aotearoa New Zealand, emerged in July 2021. Blending atmospheric post-rock with dark ambient elements, Dee (she/her) and Liv (she/them) craft haunting soundscapes that explore the enigmatic realms of the unknown.
With over two decades of musical experience each, Dee and Liv’s minimalist approach to songwriting yields a distinctive gaian doom style characterised by dark textures and reverb-soaked vocals. Their collaboration with producer Nick Blow of Sister Lung Records since 2023 has elevated their sound, defying the typical constraints of a two-piece outfit.
