5. Hollywood (Vocal Remix)

The promo material that came with the EP lists it as a ‘teaser’ – and that’s exactly what it is. Solid, all too short, but fantastically strong 12½ minute “super-low-priced” 5-track EP; with 2 brand new tracks (1&3), and 3 remixes of previously released material. If the EP is this awesome then I can’t wait for their next album.

The EP opens with crazy distortion action melding into some martial soap boxing, transforming into some good old growl. Excellent solid boot-stomping axe. Nice tone set for the rest of the album.

Rapid solid riffs and solid double-kick action leading from the second track lends power to the obviously heartfelt lyrics and some solid growl. Hearty stomping chorus and solid well-rounded riffs.

Excellent levels between instruments, obvious well-mastered and mixed. Solid vocals, staunch rhythm section and hot axe throughout the album gives it unbelievable power.

Final track evokes some solid headbanging and boot-stomping, nice rapid axe fingering coupled with a nice mix of lead and backup vocal action, drives some hard rhythm from the drums. Excellent & very catchy track, can fully imagine this live, rocking the mosh.

In short, loved it, and I cant stop listening. Its in my head, and every time I hit repeat I hear something new that I love even more.
