From the very first moment you pick up the CD you can feel an air of class exuding from this release, and upon playing the first track nothing changes.

As I began listening I felt the strong blend of blues, funk and jazz instantly hit me in the face like a fresh cup of coffee first thing in the morning, and I could easily imagine myself sitting in a local cafe listening to this.

I can’t help but notice that these boys have refined their sound extremely well over the short period of time that they have been together, resulting in their own individual sound and style that is in no small part due to the amount of hard work and dedication they have obviously put into this labor of love.

The stand out track for me is track 3 “No More Cry’n”, the slide guitar gets you in the zone from the word go, and the bluesy vocals just take it to that next level.

All in all I would suggest this album as a great addition to any coffee table or playlist for when you just want to chill out and feel some soul from some young musicians playing well beyond their years.
