Live At No.10 South Street Ep Review 1

“You better sink that drink then baby come and fill your cup”…and get tipsy drunk on Sal Valentine & The Babyshakes!

Ooowee! This is one old soul and blues revival album that is anything but played out and boring. Spot on arrangements, instrumentation and harmonising make this an ultra exciting live EP that will delight die-hard fans of Valentine’s clearly admired genres. Fans of Kitty, Daisy & Lewis; Little Richard or Imelda May will totally dig this man.

Vocally Sal has the effortlessly smooth-husk that John Mayer likes to tool his trade with…’cept Sal’s is way cooler. It’s fresh n fun and fills my mind’s eye with televised black & white dance numbers, twirling skirts and brylcreemed short back n sides…outta sight!

Definitely check it out; and if all this hasn’t convinced you then check out the Live at No.10 South Street EP then Dancing To The Shins will…anyone who can scat demand fellatio is pretty sassy in my books, baby! Check out the EP or better yet see them live for the full experience… I can’t wait too myself.
