Single Review: Stay Connected Ft. Zonny

Listening to the first 10 seconds, you don’t really know what type of track this is going to be. But then the music and Omega’s vocals kick in and it’s a nice surprise. The musical composition works well, and nothing feels out of place. Stay Connected is uncomplicated and has a smooth bass flow throughout the track. Zonny doesn’t seem to falter and his words flow effortlessly to accompany the track. With the simple and few repetitive chorus lines, this is a track people can sing-a-long to as well.

This is the type of track that would probably be played on a nice summers day, relaxing in a bar or on a road trip. There’s definitely something about Stay Connected that also makes this really feel like it has come from New Zealand. The combination of Omega’s singing and Zonny’s raps allow you to relax and also vibe out at the same time. With Omega’s recent performance at Rhythm & Vines, as well as the release and success of his recent single Clouds, he is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
