Wellington is no stranger to the world of rock, and with a slick intro that captivates you from the beginning, Seismic State’s new single Since We Last Spoke is nothing short of exceptional.
The catchy lyrics and outstanding instrumentals make this one tune that I could listen to over and over again. I constantly found something new in each playback which kept it lively and interesting. I believe Since We Last Spoke could easily become a fan favourite, especially when performed live.
Indicative of the likes of other local Wellington acts Merrin and Curlys Jewels, the vocals in this song are absolutely stunning and Seismic State wouldn’t be out of place supporting some of the larger acts that NZ has on offer.
I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more from Seismic State, they have a bright future ahead of them.
