As I listen to Sarah
Valintine’s recently released single, Flown Away, I can’t help but float off to a lovely place, prompted by a beautiful melody and artfully descriptive lyrics. It’s that first spark of chemistry between a girl and a guy mixed with that
tinge of excitement and anticipation of possibility.
“I can feel your gaze, all in the air. There is something going on between us. And I don’t know what to say, all my words have flown away”.
Are we talking romance or true love?
“And your smile. Now I’m caught up”
Sarah uses the word ‘whimsical’ to describe Flown Away, a term that aptly describes the feel of the song. This is her second single release following on from her debut Closer, and her forthcoming album The Poetry Pop Collection. Sarah is a joy to listen to and to watch live. This song in particular is mesmerising and worth the listen.
I can’t wait to hear what Sarah has bubbling away for her next release.
