Voxenhoof Debut Album Release ‘Of Sea and Sky’

Kiwi instrumental rock band Voxenhoof has released their long awaited debut album Of Sea and Sky.

The concept album features nine tracks that thematically reflect the title, inspired by Aotearoa’s intrinsic relationship with the ocean.

“Our musical formula is big guitars and drums, massive synths, electric piano motifs, and rock bass. Lots of layers, lots of delay and reverb. It sounds huge, but overall it’s a chill album. As a genre, we like to call it post-ambient rock. There’s quite a few long-form pieces and it’s cool to listen to the full arc in one session.”

Of Sea and Sky is available digitally on Bandcamp and other streaming platforms. Voxenhoof is already working on their next album.
