The Mara is a dynamic Alt-Rock band hailing from Taranaki, New Zealand. The Mara has already made a name for themselves with a headline performance at Christmas at the Bowl 2022, held at the Bowl of Brooklands in New Plymouth. The band successfully got the crowd of 15,000 people in a celebratory mood, dancing the night away as fireworks lit up the sky above the stage. The band has also supported other popular acts, such as Summer Thieves, SOJ0URN, Flaxxies, TheSlacks, The DoubleJumps and Fin Rah Zel, on stages around the North Island and played at festivals including Taranaki Relay For Life 2023, Waterbourne Festival 2023, TSB Winter Festival of Lights 2023.
